EdInsight

The EdInsight Instructional Management System is an integrated suite of software products developed by the OnHand Schools team more than five years ago. EdInsight enables school districts to implement a comprehensive approach to Data Driven Decision Making that:

Improves student PSSA assessment scores.
Provides teachers with student data, curriculum tied to standards, and resources such as lesson plans, exercises, and local assessments.
Creates a platform for true differentiated instruction. EdInsight is a role-based, Web-Accessible, point-and-click tool used to make and track decisions that bear on the success or failure of students.
Becomes a powerful tool that teachers, administrators, and parents use to make informed decisions based on the data given.

EdInsight Data Window

OnHand Schools Data Window™ is an advanced, ‘push’ model data analysis tool that provides comprehensive, relevant and up-to-date information to K-12 teachers, principals, and administrators via an intuitive Web-based interface.

Districts use this tool to extend the life of their existing legacy Student Information Systems (SIS’s) while providing all the benefits of a modern Web-based SIS at a fraction of the cost and with none of the conversion or training issues.

Beyond the trends and big-picture analysis, teachers, principals, and administrators can view detailed personalized student performance information, via the Web, at the individual class and student level. This detailed view of student performance allows your dedicated educators to focus curriculum, lessons, and resources on the most pressing academic needs of each group of students entrusted to their care.

  • Improve the speed of information collection and analysis to meet compliance and standard reporting requirements as well as ad hoc requests.
  • Rapidly identify children who are falling behind and pinpoint classrooms with persistent problems.
  • Target your resources to improvement areas of highest impact.
  • Provide teachers with the tools to build lessons based on their students data.

s EdInsight gives teachers the opportunity to see each student as an individual and look at specific needs for each student.  As far as a principal is concerned, it puts all of the information on a student in one package, so we can research the student’s difficulties and relay that information to parents.  Teachers in our building have used it to research students and adjust teaching strategies, and used it to confirm areas of strengths and weaknesses.  It is a powerful package and only has room to grow.”
